The 1972 XA Falcon GT-HO Phase 4 was to be Ford's next Bathurst winner. following the success of the XW's in 1970 and XY's in 1971. Only four were built before they were killed off by the June 1972 'Supercar Scare'. Three were being built in great secrecy by Ford as their 1972 Bathurst race cars and one road car came off the Ford production line.
Only two exist today. The sole remaining race car is in the hands of the Bowden family and is beautifully restored to its original condition by these dedicated Australian Muscle Car collectors.
